Urban Artists Sthlm is delighted to welcome Japanese ceramic artist Shingo Takeuchi for a special evening at the studio.

Join us for an intimate 2.5-hour gathering featuring an artist talk, live ceramic demonstration, exhibition viewing, and open mingling with the artist.

Created as an accessible community event, this evening offers a rare opportunity to experience Shingo’s work, philosophy, and making process up close in a relaxed studio setting.

The evening is open to ceramic artists, students, collectors, design lovers, and anyone curious about Japanese craftsmanship and contemporary ceramics.

18:00 – 18:20
Welcome, Tea & Exhibition Viewing

Guests are welcomed into the studio with Japanese tea by Yuko Ono Sthlm, light fika, and an opportunity to view a curated selection of Shingo Takeuchi’s ceramic works.

18:20 – 19:20
Artist Talk & Live Demonstration

Shingo will share insights into his artistic practice, approach to form, materials, and craftsmanship, followed by a live demonstration offering a closer look into his making process and techniques.

19:20 – 20:30
Open Q&A, Mingle & Exhibition

An informal and relaxed opportunity to ask questions, meet fellow ceramic enthusiasts, and continue viewing the exhibition.

Selected works by Shingo Takeuchi will be available for purchase during the evening.
