Pottery Afterwork BYOB: Santa’s Workshop – Holiday Special 🎄

Handbuilding (att handbygga) – Make human made Christmas presents for your loved ones!

Welcome to our little Santa’s Workshop!

This holiday season, we’re inviting you to slow down, get your hands dirty and make something special for the people you love. Forget the Christmas shopping rush – there’s nothing quite like giving a handmade present made with love (and a little bit of clay!).

Join us for a cosy evening at Urban Artists Sthlm. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some pottery experience, you’ll be guided through the basics of handbuilding and explore different ways to shape, sculpt and decorate your own creations.

Bring your favourite drinks, gather your friends or colleagues, and let your inner Urban Artist take over. We’ll take care of the snacks, festive treats and creative atmosphere!

Time: 17:30–20:00 (2.5 hours)

Your ticket includes

• A welcome drink
• Clay and handbuilding tools
• Personal guidance throughout the workshop
• Access to our wabi-sabi glazes
• Bisque firing and trimming service
• A festive snack plate with candies and chips
• A cosy evening of clay, creativity and Christmas spirit!

Firing & glazing fee

Your entrance ticket secures your spot and covers the workshop experience. Finished pieces are charged separately for firing and glazing:

300SEK per 400 g of clay. (400g= a mug, 2 glögg mugs) 

We also have ornaments available for painting with underglaze or glaze.🎨

We’ll take care of the glazing and firing for you. Simply choose your favourite glaze colour and remember to label your masterpiece with your name and chosen glaze number.

BYOB & Snacks

Bring your own favourite drinks! We’ll prepare a little snack plate for you to enjoy while creating.

Workshop Schedule

• 17:30 – Welcome & introduction: Get settled, grab a drink and learn about handbuilding techniques.
• 17:40 – Demonstration: A quick introduction to the techniques we’ll explore.
• 17:45 – Let’s get our hands dirty!: 80 minutes of sculpting, building and creating with personal guidance.
• 19:05 – Snacks & final touches: Enjoy your BYOB snacks, finish your pieces and choose the ones you’d like to keep and glaze.
• 19:25 – Cleanup: Clean our workstations, organise tools and wrap up the evening.

Pottery Pickup

Your finished pieces will be ready for collection on 12–13 December 2026, just in time for Christmas gifting! It is also our Christmas Market Weekend!

Aprons, indoor shoes and all pottery tools are available to borrow.
