Welcome to Our Kurinuki Pottery Workshop & Japanese Tea Time Experience!

Step into a serene and inspiring atmosphere as we explore the art of 切り抜き (Kurinuki), a traditional Japanese pottery technique where unique shapes and textures are carved into clay. In this workshop, you'll create your very own Kurinuki mug—perfect for sipping tea or your favorite drink.

Guided by skilled instructors, we’ll delve into the meditative process of shaping and carving clay. Whether you're a seasoned potter or a beginner, this session promises to be both creative and calming.

After crafting your masterpiece, unwind with a delightful Japanese tea time featuring authentic teas and delicate desserts by Fika Lab Sthlm, thoughtfully curated to complement the spirit of the workshop.

Overview of the workshop:

• Introduction:

  • Warm welcome to the studio, welcome tea.
  • Brief overview of the day's agenda

• Hands-On Workshop:

  • Create your own matcha bowl (chawan) using thumbing techniques
  • Guided by experienced instructors

• Break:

  • Enjoy afternoon Tea by Fika Lab ,Japanese inspired tea desserts.
  • Refresh with a soothing japanese tea by Yuko Ono Sthlm.

• Finishing Touches:

  • Decorate your matcha bowl with engobe techniques
  • Option to sculpt a foot for added elegance

Bring with you: Wear comfortable clothes; aprons are available to borrow.

Upon payment, you are registered with your name for the course.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellation 14 days before course start: 100% refund or rebook to another course.
• Cancellation 7 days before course start: 500 admin fee will be charged for both cancellation and course changes.

If you wish to transfer your purchase to another person, please inform us via email prior to the course start date.
