Refined Wheel-Thrown Tableware Workshop – 5-Piece Collection

Step into a calm and inspiring three-day experience at the wheel, designed for those who want to deepen their throwing skills while creating a timeless, handmade tableware collection.

Over three days, we’ll spend 13 hours immersed in the rhythm of wheel throwing. This workshop offers a focused yet relaxed environment where technique, attention to detail, and sensitivity to the material come together.

Basic wheel experience is required. You should be comfortable centering around 500 g of clay, as we will build on foundational skills and move towards more controlled, elegant forms.

Over the course of the workshop, you will work towards creating a cohesive 6-piece collection:

• 2 mugs
• 2 bowls
• 2 plates 

Each form is carefully selected to develop your throwing precision and understanding of proportion. We will refine centering, explore consistent wall pulling, and work with a variety of tools and techniques to shape, trim, and finish each piece with intention.

The goal is to elevate both your craftsmanship and your confidence at the wheel.

What’s Included

• 13 hours of guided wheel throwing
• 2 kg of stoneware clay
• Up to 6 finished pieces, including bisque and glaze firing
• Use of studio tools and equipment

• A relaxed shared lunch break on Saturday and Sunday

Additional clay: 150 SEK/kg

There is no additional firing fee for extra pieces, provided they are made using additional clay purchased for the workshop.

Pickup

Your finished pieces will be ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks after the workshop.
