🍂🎃 Autumn Höstlov Art Camp for Kids (age 8 to 12)

Looking for a fun and creative way to spend the autumn break? Join us for three inspiring days of art, storytelling, pottery, printmaking, and playful creative experiments at Urban Artists STHLM!

Across three exciting days, young artists will explore expressive art, storytelling, character building, pottery hand-building, printmaking, and tie-dye through fun, hands-on projects. They'll create their own characters and stories, make quirky monster mugs or candle holders in clay, experiment with prints and colours, and finish the camp by preparing a mini exhibition to share with family and friends.

And because it's Höstlov... Halloween vibes are very welcome! 🎃👻 Students are invited to dress up for our final exhibition on Day 3.

👩 Meet the Teachers

Jenny Chuang Sköld – Pottery instructor and owner of Urban Artists STHLM. Jenny will guide students through pottery, expressive art, hand-building, printmaking, and tie-dye.

Lindsay Baker – Illustrator and comic artist, leading students through storytelling, character development, illustration, and creative world-building.

🍱 Lunch: Please bring a packed lunch (microwave available). We'll provide fresh fruit and snacks during the morning break each day.

🎨 Price Includes: All art materials, pottery firing & glazing service, printmaking materials, tie-dye materials, snacks and fruits.

Please Bring: Packed lunch, water bottle, and indoor shoes. A welcome email with the detailed daily schedule and practical information will be sent before camp begins.

📝 Camp Programme

🍂 Day 1 – Express & Create

Start with playful icebreakers and expressive art on big paper, then get our hands dirty with pottery hand-building. Students will create their own monster mug or candle holder and develop fun characters and details in clay.

📖 Day 2 – Story & Print

Create imaginative stories and build unique characters through illustration and storytelling. In the afternoon, we'll explore printmaking techniques, textures, patterns, and colour.

🎃 Day 3 – Finish & Exhibit

Finish our artworks and create posters for the final exhibition. We'll also have a fun tie-dye workshop and prepare the studio for our Höstlov Art Camp exhibition.

👻 14:00–14:30 – Family Exhibition

Parents, siblings, and friends are warmly invited to join us for a mini exhibition celebrating the students' creations!

Halloween-inspired dress-up is very welcome. 🎃

Pottery pieces will be glazed and fired after the camp and will be ready for collection once completed.
